Welcome to Paper & Bows

Paper and Bows is a small studio based in Lancashire specialising in handmade, custom wedding stationery. I use a wide range of high quality papers and luxury finishing touches to create truly beautiful and memorable wedding stationery. Whether you have a design in mind or find inspiration from one of my own in house designs, I work tirelessly to create designs that encapsulate your vision. As well as my own custom designs, I also offer a bespoke design service. Colour palettes, finishes and wording can all be tailored to suit your individual style.

I work closely with all my couples throughout every step of the design process to ensure that every design aspect is perfect and the experience is as easy and enjoyable as possible. Each and every stationary item is carefully crafted with love and attention to detail from save the dates and wedding invitations to table plans, menus, place cards, order of service and much more.

If you already have a design in mind or have found some inspiration from my website or Instagram page and would like to make an enquiry, click the enquiry button on my website or send me an email at info@paperandbows.co.uk to arrange a free telephone or virtual consultation. There is nothing I love more than talking weddings! During your consultation, we will discuss the type of designs you are interested in, colours, finishes, style and theme of your wedding day and whether you are interested in one of my custom designs or my bespoke service.

Quotes & Booking

After our initial consultation I will put a quote together based on your requirements. Once you decide to go ahead and secure your wedding date, I will require 50% of the quote as a deposit to secure your booking. Once payment has been received, I will gather further information for your stationery eg. wording, menu choices etc to ensure that all your stationery compliments each and every aspect of your special day.

Design

Here comes the exciting bit, the design! Using all the information I have gathered, I will create your wedding stationery. I will provide you with three ideas each based on your brief. For customer designs I will provide three different tweaks of the original design (eg. change of fonts, colours, styling) and for my bespoke service I provide three different designs. We will then work together using the ideas, to create your perfect final design. Once we have created your final design, a PDF proof will be sent to you for your approval. It is at this point that any final amendments can be made. Two rounds of amendments are included in the price quoted.
Four
Print

Before sending your stationery to print, any amendments will be made and a final PDF proof will be sent for you. Once you are happy to proceed, I will prepare the designs for your chosen method of printing. Printing times can vary depending on the finish you have chosen, however you will be made aware of these times during the design phase. Then it's time for my favourite part, the finishing touches! I will add any wax seals, ribbon, belly bands or vellum wraps before sending you some images of your completed stationery.

I can not thank Paper and Bows enough for all the stationery they made for my wedding. Not only did they create my save the dates, invites, place names, menus and order of service but they did it twice due to our wedding having to be postponed.

The rustic feel of the invites was exactly what I wanted to go with our barn wedding, from the colour of the card down to the twine and lace detailing. They listened to my own ideas of what I wanted and created my vision perfectly!
